When I heard about Morning Gloryville, the must visit early morning healthy dance party, happening in NYC I didn’t want to miss it! Unfortunately (not so, but you know what I mean) I’m in Thailand, so there was no way I’d get to be there! What’s a girl to do? I sent my food blogging friend, Lauren Unger of Hint of Greens to check out the green juice scene and give me her trusted run down, so here goes..
To walk into a church and get leid was not what I was expecting on a Wednesday morning, but that’s exactly how my day started. Get your head out of the gutter I am talking about a Hawaiian lei. Upon entering the church you could feel the love and energy and hear the beat of the music. There was no shortage of energetic music, acro yoga, fresh juices and muffins on hand at this mornings rave. Not to mention a massage station and a St. Ives refresh and hydration stations to keep us feeling radiant throughout the event.
I immediately headed to the dance floor and after a few minutes of dancing it was time to head to the “refresh station” aka the bathroom. The counters were filled with St. Ives products and people were buzzing about their favorites. The top favorite products while I was there were the Apricot Smooth & Glow spray on body lotion and the super refreshing Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub (my favorite too!).
Naturally, St. Ives didn’t want us to just live out our radiant feeling onsite, so they gave us a goodie bag filled to the brim with a little love to take with us throughout the day. Would I recommend visiting? Highly. You can destress, party, and drink green juice all before 8 am. Time to take your regular morning from routine to radiant!
