1. Downward Facing Dog: Begin with your tailbone and hips high towards the sky. Feet hip distance apart; hands shoulder distance apart. Shoulders relax away from your ears as you press your hands down towards the mat, spreading through all ten fingertips. Breathe here for 5 breaths, inhaling and exhaling through the nose.
2. Seated Twist: Sit down in a regular seated position and bend your right knee. Sit really tall, root your tail bone down towards the earth and take your left elbow towards your outer right thigh. The key here is to breathe and reach the crown of your head up towards the sky, finding length in between each vertebrae in your spine.
3. Twisting Triangle: Place your left leg forward, your right leg slightly behind your left. Place your right hand on the mat or on a block, while keeping your spine straight, reach your left arm high (lining up with the left shoulder). On each exhale, twist deeper. Hold for 5 slow, deep breaths. Twisting Triangle massages digestive organs and aids constipation.
