One of my favorite things ever, plain and simple? Peanut Butter. I like to enjoy peanut butter in all ways. Whether it’s straight out of the jar, over toast, smeared over banana bread, or my famous Homemade Peanut Butter Cups. While I used to only be hooked on peanut butter, a whole new world has opened up to me after discovering peanut butter spread in maple and cinnamon flavors. Get ready for some peanut butter madness.
- Peanut Butter Cinnamon Crunch Banana Bites
While this may be one of the most basic breakfast ideas, it’s also one of the best. As simple as it is, you just slice one deliciously ripe banana, smear Jif Peanut Butter Cinnamon Spread over it, and top with dark chocolate nibs. I can’t get enough of these little bites. 🙂
- Maple Peanut Butter Oatmeal
Basic oatmeal is always an easy go-to. Instead of your usual brown sugar and almond milk, make it extra rich and creamy with a spoonful of Jif Maple Peanut Butter Spread. The warm oats combined with the pb spread are all you need to get peanut butter happy.
- 2 Step Peanut Butter Cups
This isn’t the easiest of breakfast options, but it’s definitely the most delicious. After making these, I’m instantly brought back to my childhood and won’t ever buy a peanut butter cup in store again. These are extremely easy to make and you can make a big batch to freeze for enjoying anytime. There are only 5 ingredients and they’re all easy to find. This peanut butter spread is everything, and bonus is it’s rich in protein and magnesium for building and maintaining muscle tone. To make them, take a small saucepan over low heat, stir 1/3 cup coconut oil, 1/4 cup peanut butter spread, 1/4 cup cacao powder, and 2 Tbsp maple syrup until melted. Using cupcake wrappers spoon in a thin layer of the mixture, then add 1 teaspoon of peanut butter filling. Finish it off with enough of the heated mixture to cover the peanut butter. Repeat until the peanut butter runs out. Freeze for one hour, or overnight and serve cooled.

If you couldn’t tell already, I’m definitely #PeanutButterHappy after writing up these breakfast items. I generally can’t get enough of peanut butter, but now with these peanut butter spreads from Walmart, I’m so hooked. If you don’t find yourself with enough time to enjoy the spreads, you can also get your fix with Jif Bars in chocolate, creamy pb, and hazelnut flavors. I’m always open to hearing new ways to enjoy your pb for breakfast, so comment below or share on Instagram with #PeanutButterHappy.
