These days my Instagram followers are a bit confused on where on Earth TheWholeTara is. New York, Miami, Paris, Jerusalem, Ibiza…? It’s a question I’m even asking myself! The short answer is that I’ve returned back from Asia (mainly Israel this time around) and have landed in Miami for the time being, but my heart remains in New York so I’m spending half of my time there. How the “half of my time” works out is a mystery even to me. Some days I find myself by the beach in Miami and other days drowning in the snow in New York. This time around I made it back to New York right in time for a major snow storm, and I wasn’t too happy about it. To brighten up what could have been days of hibernation and bundling up, my friends and I decided to hide out and make the very best of it. We stocked the fridge with juices and snacks from a nearby (kosher!) juice spot, Juice Press. I used to be a huge fan back when I lived in the city, but its been a while and I’ve missed the vegan lifeIn the past week I’ve made it my mission to try out almost all of the juices, smoothies, and snacks at Juice Press being that I used to know the entire menu by heart. The findings so far conclude that the Kelp Noodle Salad, Sin-O-Buns, and Fountain of Youth smoothie were and still are my favourites.
My best friend ordered all of the snacks and food for us in advance, and I paid her back using my new Square Cash app. Sharing the bill with friends is easy with Square Cash, sharing your food isn’t. You can download the Square Cash app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Market 🙂
