I recently partnered with Tribe Hummus and got to try out their Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. I didn’t think there could be a better snack than Tribe’s Everything Hummus, but I was wrong. Tribe Hummus is always a clean option as it’s free of artificial flavors and preservatives and contains protein and fiber. These red pepper bites are so easy to put together and can make any holiday spread look irresistible. I just sliced mini red peppers lengthwise, removed the seeds, and filled them with hummus. For an extra crunch, you can also serve the Red Pepper Holiday Hummus Pods with my Homemade Mary’s Gone Crackers (will be linked).
This time of year I celebrate Chanukah, which is not exactly known for the healthiest of treats. Think fried jelly doughnuts (sufganiyot) and fried potato pancakes (latkes). Don’t get me wrong, even though I enjoy these foods I very well know that having healthy options available is a breath of fresh air. Plus, I can’t emphasize the importance of fiber and protein while snacking. They keep you fuller longer, which means less noshing on doughnuts and latkes. 🙂
