Elegance. Class. Sophistication.
Our stay at The Intercontinental in Hong Kong embodied all of that and more. There was a certain something that set this city apart from any other. It’s always described as an Asian version of New York City, but I beg to differ. Hong Kong had a certain je ne sais quoi about it, but then again it may have just been our plush accommodations and to die for views of the harbor.
We pulled up and immediately felt taken care of, regardless that it was 5 am, we were ruffled up from nearly 20h of flying, and looked like we hadn’t slept in days! We dropped our bags and made our way to the Club Room where we were treated to a beautiful breakfast buffet, tea, and tons of help in planning our quick stay in Hong Kong.
Some of the best touches? A beautiful meal at Nobu, feel-better roses from the staff, and full butler service. The gloomy cloud looming over Hong Kong didn’t seem to matter when we were immersed in this paradise. Between an endless infinity pool, to-die-for ginger tea (ask for some!), and Ferragamo/Chanel bath products, you won’t want to leave. I didn’t.
